They cut it off or bit it off, but… part of the ear is missing

In Patras, in the hospital there is a man crippled in a fierce fight – his ear was either cut off or bitten off.

The incident, according to CNN Greece, occurred on Tuesday, April 30, in the Valtos area in Etoloakarnania. A fight broke out between the employer's son and an employee, as a result of which one of the participants was taken to the hospital with an ear injury.

According to some reports, one managed to hit the other with an iron rod, cutting his earlobe. According to other information, the injury occurred after a bite. The bleeding wounded man was first taken to Agrinio Hospital and then to the University Hospital of Patras. Doctors tried to reattach the severed part of the ear, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

The second participant in the brawl has been arrested, and the case is being investigated by the Embesos police department. A criminal case has been filed against him for threats, insults and causing dangerous bodily harm. The case file includes illegal possession of weapons.
