Greek mafia: photographs of eight arrested released

The details of eight arrested members of the Greek mafia have become known – they come from Georgia, Albania, Russia and Uzbekistan. By order of the prosecutor, their photographs were published.

They are accused of bombings, arson and murder, and were arrested about two months ago for murder. Previously, as writes CNN Greece, authorities have arrested two people in connection with the 2022 murder of Yiannis Skaftouros in Dervenochoria, Vassilis Rumpetis and his son-in-law Dionysis Mouzakitis in Korydallos last summer, for two arson attacks and for attempted murder in Pieria.

Data and photos eight gang members were published by order of the prosecutor. The purpose of disclosure is to execute arrest warrants, protect the public, and facilitate government enforcement of criminal actions. Another purpose of the publication is to discover new cases of crimes in which they are involved, facilitating the investigation to identify their still unknown accomplices. Information about the eight arrested:
