Man seriously injured in his apartment, his partner detained

In the Athenian district of Kalithea, a man was severely stabbed in the stomach right in his house.

Early in the morning, an ambulance arrived to call a wounded 60-year-old man. With severe bleeding from a knife wound in the abdomen, he was taken to the hospital “Laiko” (“Λαϊκό”). The victim is in critical condition and unable to testify.

Arriving at the scene of the incident, the police detained his 50-year-old partner. The woman claims that when she returned home in the evening, she found her roommate with a wound in his stomach.

The Kallithea security service is studying the circumstances of the case and the role of the woman in what happened. Her involvement in a similar incident in the past is also under investigation.

According to official information, the man was found covered in blood on Saturday morning in his apartment in Kallithea after calling ΕΚΑΒ, writes newsbreak.gr.
