Police officers from the Harilau-Analipsi district have filed a case against two Greeks, 32 and 27 years old, for a major theft.
According to the police investigation, the accomplices broke into the apartment of an elderly woman in the Analipsi area and pulled out a safe with jewelry, gold pounds and bonds of the Greek government for a total of about 200,000 euros.
The burglars, apparently, had been tracking down the mistress of the house for a long time and knew perfectly well that she was rich.
Law enforcement agencies suspect that a foreign gunner was involved in the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
