On Thursday afternoon (7.10) an accident occurred in Santorini, as a result of which 1 person died and 1 more was seriously injured.
According to Cyclades24.gr, part of the roof of a building being built in the Vourvoulos area collapsed, causing one worker to be fatally injured and another seriously injured. The workers were cleaning the building at that moment.
According to preliminary information, the killed was from Bangladesh (about 40 years old), and the wounded 45 years old, this is a worker of Albanian origin.
The Thira Police Force is currently investigating the collapse of an entire floor of the new building.
