In the underwater zone of the Ionian Sea, near Zakynthos, tremors with a strength of 4.3 on the Richter scale were recorded.
According to the automatic solution of EMSC, the European Mediterranean Seismological Institute, the epicenter of the seismic shock was 13 km north of Zakynthos, 16 km west of Bartholomew, Ilia. The source depth was 2 km.
The earthquake data received by the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Institute are solutions of an automated computer system, without the involvement of a seismologist. They are constantly being updated.
