Meteorologist Yiannis Kallianos announced today’s all-European temperature record of 46.3 degrees, it was recorded by automatic meteorological stations of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr in Makrakomi (Phthiotida).
The mercury column rose above 40 ° С at 143 stations, and above 43 ° С at 22 stations. This is the highest temperature historically recorded by the network of automatic weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr.
