The weather will worsen from Good Friday (3/5), with showers and thunderstorms expected until Easter Sunday (5/5).
According to the weather forecast compiled by Clearhos Marousakis, bad weather will come to Greece from Good Friday, and we will celebrate Easter Sunday with… umbrellas.
As Clearhos Marousakis reports: “Showers and isolated localized thunderstorms in the west, center and north will greet Easter travelers on Friday, with increasing intensity in the northwest and northeast.”
He goes on to say: “On Saturday, bad weather will pass through the whole country, which will also affect the weather for Easter, especially from the Peloponnese and further south. Therefore, umbrellas and jackets are necessary accessories. On Easter Sunday, severe weather will be limited to the Aegean Sea, the eastern and southern continents, and will weaken and be limited as time goes on. This means that in most continental areas traditional Easter events will go ahead without problems.”.
