On the night of Saturday, August 12, shots were fired at a popular nightclub located on Vouliagmenis Avenue. At the same time, as reported, the police found five shell casings at the scene. Two arrests were made.
A shooting near a club on Vouliagmenis Avenue early on Saturday morning caused alarm among Greek law enforcement agencies. The incident occurred at 05:30, and, according to eyewitnesses, a man who left the club began to shoot from a pistol, after which he fled in an SUV.
At the scene, according to APE-MPE, five shell casings and three bullet holes were found in the wall at the entrance to the club. The policemen who went to the place, based on the testimonies, immediately began to look for the car with the criminal.
A little later, the car was found in Kallithea, parked at the intersection of Theseus and Euripides streets. There were a man and a woman in the car, who were detained. During the search they found two pistols. The Athens security sub-directorate is conducting a preliminary investigation into the case.
