Stelios Petsas left open the question of granting privileges to vaccinated.
“Privileges are necessary for those who are vaccinated in order to be a clear motive and suppress the resistance of those who have doubts or are addicted to conspiracy theories,” Stelios Petsas said on Greek TV SKAI morning program.
A government representative gave an example of the privileges that could be granted. For example, wider movement inside and outside the territory, and the possibility of visiting places that are now closed.
Mr Petsas explained that this has been discussed for a month and calculated that mid-June is the time when some decisions need to be made to speed up vaccination.
Regarding vaccination centers, he stated that it was originally said to be 1018 when the first plan was created, but now the number has increased by 50% of the originally estimated number.
He also noted that “the best vaccine is the one that is made in a timely manner (the sooner the better).”
