Weather: Low temperatures and rainy weather to continue into Friday

In many parts of Greece, autumn coolness and rainy weather with local downpours will continue today, forecasters report.

In accordance with the forecasts of ΕΜΥ, reports CNN Greece, on Friday, September 23, partly cloudy is expected throughout the country. Showers and sporadic thunderstorms will take place in Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the northeastern islands of the Aegean, Western Sterea, Crete and the Peloponnese. Thunderstorms and local showers are expected in parts of the Ionian Sea, Epirus, Thessaly, the rest of Central Greece and Evia.

Temperature

Temperature indicators in different parts of Greece will vary in a significant range. In Western Macedonia 1-19°С, in the rest of Northern Greece 3-21°С, in Epirus 9-26°С, in Thessaly 7-25°С, in the rest of the mainland from 10°С to 23-24°С , on the Ionian Islands 12-25°С, on the islands of the Aegean Sea and Crete from 12°С to 23-25°С.

Wind

In the Aegean Sea, the wind is variable, its intensity will be 3-4 points on the Beaufort scale. Northern in some places, up to 5-6 points. In the Ionian Sea, the wind is northwest, 4-5 on the Beaufort scale.

ATTICA

The weather is expected to improve by Friday evening. Wind north/northeast, 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale, up to 6 in eastern Attica at times. Temperature up to 21°С.

THESSALONIKI

Partly cloudy, which will intensify in the afternoon. Wind northwest, 4-5 on the Beaufort scale. Temperature up to 22°С.
