The housing stock renovation program “Εξοικονομώ 2021” will be expanded. Access to it will be given to all participants who applied and did not enter the 1st stage.
The Ministry of Ecology and Energy has offered a summer “bonus” to households that have applied for the “Εξοικονομώ 2021” program.
In particular, today, August 17, the Ministry of Environment and Energy announced that 47,433 runners-up, that is, the entire relevant list of beneficiaries, are included in theprogram. The “miracle” happened, thanks to the additional funds that appeared in the state treasury.
Now the budget of “Εξοικονομώ 2021” has been increased by 591.7 million euros and amounts to 1.2 billion euros (94% increase). In total, 87,578 households are currently beneficiaries of the program, writes iefimerida.gr.
Those with full electronic building identification can start home improvement activities (subject to a percentage of their own participation in the program).
Εξοικονομώ 2021 is the first renovation (building upgrade) program with a separate budget for vulnerable households. By the decision of the government, all the participants who ended up in the “second order” are included in it. Thus, the 14,246 most vulnerable fellow citizens will receive support in the amount of 201.8 million euros for repairs.
