A 22-year-old British tourist is admitted to the intensive care unit of Zakynthos General Hospital after he was severely beaten in the port area of the island.
The young man received multiple blows to the head and was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries. This violent incident took place in the port of Zakynthos Island on Wednesday evening when a group of young people went on a day trip on a local boat.
Two other young people, compatriots of the victim, were immediately arrested by the Zakynthos Port Authority as suspected of involvement in the beating.
