One of the scenarios proposed by the government to support citizens against price increases is the issuance of 200 euros.
In addition to measures to curb energy prices and subsidize gasoline and electricity (as Power Pass Fuel Pass platforms are expected to open in the coming days), government finance staff are exploring budget options to see how big the one-time “summer bonus” will be.
Recall that financial assistance in the amount of 200 euros was received by those in need for Holy Week, in total about 1.7 million beneficiaries (of which 634,000 are low-income pensioners).
However, in order to give a new allowance, it is necessary to find “free” money. It is estimated that this is approximately 250-300 million euros, an amount that will allow the government to make an appropriate decision on issuing a “summer” bonus.
In the very near future, this will be officially announced.
