From today 22/03 to Sunday 4 April, interested parties will have time to electronically apply for the Free Distance Professional Certification Program.
In particular, as reported by AMPE, the acceptance of applications starts today at 15:00.
The program is being implemented as part of the OAED-Google Greece collaboration to improve digital literacy, professional skills of the unemployed and strengthen the country’s digital economy. Those who meet the conditions for participation are invited to submit an online application by Sunday 4 April 2021, by 23:59.
“With the aim of strengthening and improving digital skills, the course includes free training for 3,000 unemployed people in four thematic areas, as a result of which they will receive the following certificates:
IT Support Specialist Certificate. UX Designer Certified. Project manager certificate. Data Analyst Certificate.
Certificates of Study are provided in English only. Each beneficiary must apply for one thematic block, but if he / she wishes, he / she can fill in all the thematic blocks. The training is conducted through the Coursera platform, and upon successful completion of each module, the beneficiary will automatically receive a corresponding certificate of completion of the course.
The program is addressed to the unemployed, registered in the OAED registry, under the age of 29, graduates of (at least) secondary education, with knowledge of the English language and the presence of a computer, in accordance with the conditions posted on the organization’s website.
The submission of the electronic application will be carried out exclusively through the Single Digital Portal of the Greek State www.gov.gr.

Upon completion of the submission, the applicants will be assessed, and then emails from the OAED will be sent to those selected by the OAED with instructions on registration and training.
The end date for online courses and programs in general is Tuesday 30 November 2021.
Upon successful completion of the program and other conditions are met, the unemployed person receiving benefits will have the opportunity to participate in the subsidized professional experience program that the OAED plans to implement.
