Poll: ND leads SYRIZA by 7 percentage points

The gap between the New Democracy and SYRIZA is narrowing, according to a survey conducted by Prorata at the request of Εφημερίδα των Συντακτών.

According to the data received, the difference in voting intentions reaches 7 points, with New Democracy gaining 32% and SYRIZA 25%. They are followed KINAL with 13%, KKE with 5%, Ελληνική Λύση with 5% and MeRA25 with 2%.

In terms of the position of the parties (according to 2019 data), the ND stands at 68%, behind 6% SYRIZA and 8% KINAL.

SYRIZA reaches 67%, losing 6% to ND and 8% to KINAL.

Asked if they consider Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s “apology” after the suffering of thousands of drivers on Attiki Odos to be satisfactory, or if there is a need for the resignation of government officials, citizens express dissatisfaction. In particular, 73% of the respondents answered that Mitsotakis’s apologies were unsatisfactory and there should have been resignations. And only 25% considered the prime minister’s apology “sufficient.”

At the same time, 81% of citizens are not satisfied with the efforts of the authorities to prevent problems with electricity supply, and only 17% are satisfied.
As for who is mainly responsible for “the misadventures at Attiki Odos”, 36% attribute the main responsibility to “poor preparation and management carried out by the current government”, 32% to “the private management company of Attiki Odos”, and 26% to “chronic shortcomings of the state mechanism.”

When asked “to what extent the Greek government is responsible for the problems created by the bad weather of Elpis”, 83% answered “to a large extent”, and “a little and not at all” answered 16% of those surveyed.
