Law enforcement officers arrested two people on Saturday afternoon, January 22, in the center of Thessaloniki for growing hemp.
In particular, two men, 48 and 49 years old, were detained after coordinated actions by the police of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
In particular, during a search conducted in a house owned by two defendants, it was found that in a specially equipped attic area, in a greenhouse, they grew 4 hemp seedlings two meters high.
The plants were uprooted. The equipment that was used to grow them has been confiscated.
The following were also found and confiscated from the detainees:
1 pack of cannavis weighing 950 grams, 52 glass bottles with hemp, weighing 234 grams, 678 grams of hemp oil, 7 electronic accurate scales, 1 pistol, 315 cartridges.
During a search in a store owned by one of the arrested, 16 glass bottles of cannabis with a total weight of 32 grams were found and seized.
The detainees were taken to the Prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Thessaloniki. The investigation is ongoing.
