Greek researcher and SciCo founder Thodoris Anagnostopoulos, speaking on television, said: “We could choose the sex of our unborn child if it were not prohibited.”
The expert said that scientists have discovered the “ψ” chromosome, which is transmitted only from father to son through the male line and is responsible for the gender of the child.
“Various changes and mutations occur in DNA over time. When these are passed down from generation to generation, by studying them, we can trace the entire history of man. Thus, it is discovered that we share a common ancestor with other primates such as chimpanzees. Study of polymorphisms or mutations identified the “ψ” chromosome, which determines gender. Of course, it would be possible to plan in advance the “right gender” of the child, choosing the gender is possible, but it is prohibited.”
If we look at the biography of Thodoris Anagnostopoulos, it is truly impressive. He studied biology and received a PhD in genetics from King's College London. From 2013 to 2017, he was, among other things, president of the Onassis Fellows Association. He is the president and co-founder of SciCo, an organization whose goal is to promote science in innovative ways to the general public on an international scale.
