Police from the security department of the Attica Security Directorate arrested a 43-year-old local man who was subject to an arrest warrant for robbery, theft and assault.
In particular, in 2023, on three occasions, a robber approached elderly people in the Oropos area and, pretending to know their relatives, defrauded them of money.
At the same time, he did not hesitate to use physical violence, as a result of which he seriously injured a 73-year-old man in order to take money from him.
In addition, his involvement in committing robbery and theft in the Pallini area in November 2022 was revealed, where, while driving a car, he lured an elderly man into the car in order to then take money from him by force.
The man will appear before a competent prosecutor.
