An unusual case of domestic violence in reverse: an elderly man from Volos was severely beaten by his Ukrainian wifereports TheNewspaper.gr.
The publication said that a man from Volos met a woman from Ukraine via the Internet, and in recent years they lived together in Agria. Moreover, the woman brought her 18-year-old son with her.
According to the man, the Ukrainian woman, who left the public sector while working as an engineer in her country, came to Greece, and the 74-year-old man promised to restore her financial situation. However, she suffers from alcoholism, as a result of which she often takes it out on both her child and her unhappy spouse!
So, on the afternoon of March 25, after drinking a large amount of alcohol, a woman beat her child, and when an elderly man intervened to separate them, she hit him too! Moreover, she threatened him that if he divorced her, she would kill him.
Unable to bear his suffering any longer, the old man decided to go to court. The woman was detained, a lawyer was appointed from the list, since she could not afford to hire a lawyer, and she will remain in custody until today, when the court will consider the case.
