Two armed robberies, carried out in an identical manner, took place within half an hour at the Haidari and Thisio hotels on the night of March 18th.
Shortly before 05:00 on the morning of Clean Monday, a man, at gunpoint, immobilized a 25-year-old hotel employee on Iraklideon Street in Thisio and took the proceeds.
A few hours earlier, in exactly the same way, a man with a pistol in his hands entered a hotel on Satovriadou Street in the Haidari district and took an unknown amount of money from a 40-year-old hotel employee.
Over the past few hours, authorities have been collecting CCTV footage as well as witnesses to track down the culprits.
