Holders of social tourism vouchers who can spend their holidays in tourist sites in Greece have the opportunity to relax during the coming holidays almost free of charge.
In its message, ΔΥΠΑ recalls that “vacations under the social tourism program 2023-2024 may last until June 30, 2024.” This is a very advanced and attractive program for both beneficiaries and providers, as it is characterized reduced private participation of beneficiaries in the cost of overnight stays in tourist accommodation and increased subsidized prices for hospitality service providers.
As a reminder, program beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in tourist accommodation, which they select from the ΔΥΠΑ Provider Register, after direct consultation with the service provider (host).
In hotels in Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos you can spend up to 10 nights (without private participation, additional fees), and in hotels in Rhodes, N. Evia, Evros and Samos up to 12 nights are completely free.
In addition to staying in tourist accommodation facilities, Ferry tickets are also subsidized. Participation of the general category of beneficiaries is 25%, large families – 20%. For disabled people, ferry tickets are provided free of charge.
