American journalist Tucker Crulson is in Moscow to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In his post, Carlson, who has come under fire in the US for his decision to travel to Russia, explains the reasons why he felt it was appropriate to interview the Russian president from a journalistic perspective.
He explains that the risk of such an interview was high, but he decided to do it because, firstly, it is his job, and it is his duty to inform the world.
After all, two years into the war in Ukraine, most Americans have no idea why it is happening or what is happening in the region.
According to him, the war in Ukraine has caused serious changes in the world balance, a restructuring of the global geopolitical landscape, and the weakening of the dollar is one of the results of these changes.
The Western media, Carlson claims, are corrupt and lying to the whole world. Since the beginning of the war, they have hosted Ukrainian President V. Zelensky hundreds of times, citing his views and much more:
While Western media promote Zelensky’s views and advertise them as a commercial product, not a single Western media outlet has made the obvious thing – interviewed the Russian president.

This is because the media is not reporting anything, and this is wrong, as he explains further: “Three years ago, the Joe Biden administration illegally intercepted my own communications and leaked their contents to the media. They did this to stop our plans to interview Putin.
Last month, I’m sure they did it again, but this time we still came to Moscow.

Many Western governments will try to sabotage the interview because that’s what they do: They’re afraid of information they can’t control.”
