The 75-year-old King of Great Britain, Charles III, was diagnosed with cancer.
“European Truth” writes about this, citing a message from Buckingham Palace dated February 5th. The malignant cells were discovered after additional tests were ordered due to a “separate problem” during recent surgery for a benign prostate enlargement. A statement from Buckingham Palace said:
“His Majesty today began his regular course of treatment, during which time his doctors have advised him to postpone his public duties. During this period, His Majesty will continue to engage in public affairs and official work as usual.”
Details of the diagnosis have not been disclosed, but the report says that Charles III is positive about the treatment “and looks forward to an early return to full public duties”:
“His Majesty has decided to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation, and in the hope that it will help the public understand all those affected by cancer around the world.”
