Residents of the Patisia area experienced moments of horror when unknown assailants opened fire on a local cafe.
The townspeople jumped out of their beds when the strangers opened fire and shelled the drinking establishment located on the ground floor, directly under their balconies. In particular, on the streets of Paraskevopoulou and Yannari in Patisia at 03:00 at night, unknown persons opened heavy fire. Fortunately, at that time it was closed and no one was inside the room. As a result, no one was injured. The bullets completely smashed the cafe window.
Having accomplished their plan, the criminals fled in an unknown direction. Residents of the area, awakened by the shooting, called the police. Officers who arrived on scene found shell casings. Authorities believe it was a “warning” from a mobster to a business owner.
