A light aircraft crashed in the Caribbean. On board with Hollywood star Christian Oliver were his two daughters: 12-year-old Annick and 10-year-old Madita. No one survived, including the pilot Robert Sachs, who owned the plane.
An American actor of German origin died off the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. tells the Guardian. According to local authorities, the island’s Royal Police Force, the light aircraft crashed into the ocean a few minutes after takeoff. The tragedy occurred on Thursday, January 4, around noon.

Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm rushed to the scene in their boats to help the victims. The bodies of two adults and children were found by coast guard officers, and arriving doctors pronounced them dead.
Christian Oliver (Christian Klepser) was born in Germany and later moved to the United States, where he worked as a model and took acting lessons. Oliver’s acting career began in 1994 with a role in 26 episodes of the series Saved by the Bell: The New Class. From 2006 to 2008, he played in Clooney and Cate Blanchett’s The Good German, Emile Hirsch’s Speed Racer and Tom Cruise’s Valkyrie. Oliver became widely known for his roles in the TV series Cobra, The Eighth Sense, Parallel Worlds and Inspector George Gently.
Thursday’s fatal crash prompted an outpouring of condolences to the family and friends of the late actor, who finished filming his final scenes in the film, titled “Hold Your World Forever,” just five days before Christmas.
