An elderly man in Patras is hospitalized in serious condition after being attacked by a group of teenage Roma.
The incident took place in Zaruchleika (Ζαρουχλεΐκα) in Patras, tells CNN Greece, Thursday evening November 2nd. Young people attacked an 85-year-old man while he was walking down the street. One of them pushed him, causing him to fall and seriously hit his head. An elderly man was hospitalized in serious condition
On Friday morning, police officers arrested one of the attackers on the old man, he is a minor, so his father was also arrested – for neglecting his son’s upbringing. The motives for the attack are being investigated.
