Emergency Notice to All US Citizens in Greece: “Be Alert”

The US Embassy sent an emergency notice to all Greek residents holding a US passport, saying they were on high alert.

In particular, the embassy asks for information about their whereabouts and announces the alarm: “Due to increased tension in various parts of the world, the possibility of terrorist attacksdemonstrations or violent acts against U.S. citizens and interests, the department advises U.S. citizens abroad to exercise increased caution.”

Let us remind you that yesterday (10/19) a special warning was issued for all Americans outside their country. In particular, the State Department advises American citizens abroad to exercise increased caution.

Due to heightened tensions in various regions of the world and the possibility of terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or violent acts against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens abroad to exercise extreme caution.
