Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis arrived today, October 23, in Israel, where he will meet with the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The meeting will take place in the coming hours in Jerusalem, with Mr Mitsotakis returning to Athens in the afternoon.
The Greek prime minister’s visit comes as international efforts are underway to prevent an Israeli ground attack on the Gaza Strip and further worsening the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ trip was scheduled for last week, but was postponed due to security concerns. writes CNN Greece.
