Today, the Up Stories group published video footage of the recent fire in Parnit, which shows new fires breaking out far from the main fire, which confirms the theory of multiple targeted arsons.
This is a video featuring Alexandros Bagiokos, which, according to the Up Stories team, shows minute by minute, more precisely from 21:30 (23/8) to 07:30 am (24/8), the progress of the fire front, which started from Fili and, passing through the gorge I.M. Clayston, reached Parnitha.
The video footage raises questions about how new fires appeared at 3 time points (0:40, 1:02 and 1:35), hundreds of meters from the main fire and against the direction of the wind. Up Stories indicates that these are not repeat fires.
