Newlyweds Philipp and Mikaela from Austrian Graz have been missing since six o’clock yesterday evening. The house in which they decided to spend their honeymoon was swept away by a stormy stream of water.
How tells gegonota.news, this is not the first time they have come to rest in Greece, in Pelion. For the wedding and honeymoon, we decided to revisit our favorite places.
They stayed at the house where another couple from Austria lived – they were rescued yesterday. When the cyclone hit, they left the rooms and decided to seek refuge on the hill of Xinovrisia. They invited Philip and Michaela to come with them, but they decided that it was safer in the house.
However, soon the two houses of the recreation complex were in the sea. The owner of the rooms, T. Samaras, exclaims:
“I can’t believe it. The kids came for three weeks and on arrival got married in Argalasti. They came many times for the holidays. They are the same age, they are about 35 years old. I think the kids are gone, I’m going crazy. I can’t to believe that they could drown.Yesterday ΕΜΑΚ came to Potistica and rescued 6 people from the tavern. We thought that Philip and Michaela would be among them, but no. They and the rescued Austrian couple met many years ago here in our country house.”
