Events reminiscent of scenes from action movies about the “Wild West” unfolded on Wednesday morning September 6 in the Nea Smyrni area in Larisa, when gypsies staged a shooting in broad daylight.
The incident took place near a local school. Two groups of Roma “didn’t divide something among themselves” and started a showdown with the use of firearms. According to preliminary information from the local news publication onlarissa.gr, as a result of the collision, three people were injured and taken to the emergency university hospital of Larisa. Reinforced squads of police forces arrived at the scene and put things in order.
