Activists of the movement, protesting against the issuance of new identity cards to Greek citizens (tavtotit), staged a real “light show” in the city center.
The protesters held Orthodox crosses in their hands (as if defending themselves from the “invasion of the Antichrist”) and banners with slogans expressing their indignation on this issue.
The audience, who were initially seen at the White Tower (Λευκό Πύργο), clutched icons and crosses, talking about the “seal of the Antichrist” and “a new plan to deceive the people in terms of the coronavirus.”

According to the gathering, who have come together through social media, the new IDs represent “electronic slavery” because they have a “chip”. “We will never get them!” the crowd chanted.
It is worth noting that the demonstrators arrived at the protest rally from a number of regions of northern Greece. A similar rally is expected in Athens.
