There is no end to the queues at the police stations for the issuance of certificates, despite the government’s security guarantees regarding the new tavtotites and the fact that in two years the old documents will be useless, invalid.
Huge queues outside police stations also affect those who really need an official document to travel or make transactions. Ms. Katerina Sapartalidou complained to Mega that she had to wait 36 hours outside the police station to get her ID for an urgent trip abroad.

“My adventure began with the fact that I needed to leave the country. I needed a passport because I needed a visa. I went to the local AT station and it turned out that there was a typo on my ID card and a new one needed to be issued. This marked the beginning of the real Golgotha,” says the townswoman.
According to her, in unofficial list for issuance of certificates registered 350 people. “I was the only one who really needed it. I even heard that “through the rays from the photograph, through the iris, they will change your DNA and implant a chip,” the woman says.

Ultimately the lady had to spend the night (!) near the police station, to get a new ID.
In general, as it turned out, there are quite a few in society who, with wooden crosses, icons, banners, hymns and prayers, oppose the new tavtotites, intending to “drive out Satan who is “hiding” behind new digital identity cards” through protest rallies.
