Death in the Hot Spring Bath


The death of a 50-year-old man in Loutra Pozar, who collapsed while leaving the pool, caused shock.

According to the publication aridaia365.gr, the man, having left the bath, felt unwell and lost consciousness. The officials of Loutropolis (Λουτρόπολης) immediately gave him first aid. An ambulance arrived at the scene and delivered the victim to the Aridaya medical center in a very serious condition. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of doctors, the man could not be saved. According to the same information, he is from Kavala and worked for the security company of the Pozar festival.

Loutra Pozar is a balneological resort located just 100 km from Thessaloniki.

Surrounded by a green forest, on one of the slopes of Mount Voras, on the river Thermopotamos (translated from Greek – “warm river”) are the healing thermal springs of Loutra Pozar, Aridea, their other name is Pozar Almopias.
