Details of the severe injury of a woman in Patras by a partner: everything happened in front of a child

A 25-year-old woman who was stabbed by her partner is hospitalized in critical condition. A small child was with her at the time of the attack.

He shouted loudly: “My mother, he killed you… Help!”. CNN Greece became known some details of what happened. On a woman attacked her 28-year-old partner in an apartment on Benizelo Rufu Street, in the Skagiopulio area of Patras, during an argument. The man stabbed her four times under the shoulder blade and one in the neck. The child, who saw the bleeding mother, was in a state of shock.

Covered in blood, the woman found the strength to get out into the street with the child and ask for help. A small child screamed loudly, and residents of nearby apartment buildings called the police and an ambulance.

According to police, the man hurried to escape after the incident, an investigation is underway to establish his whereabouts, and an attempted murder case has been opened. A woman who suffered from hemorrhagic shock was taken to the hospital and operated on. Her condition remains serious. Her partner was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
