Under unclear circumstances, on Sunday, July 16, a ten-year-old girl drowned in the pool of a hotel in Nea Makri.

A private doctor was present at the scene of the incident, who tried to resuscitate the child with artificial respiration. However, his efforts were in vain, writes newsbeast.gr. An ambulance took the girl to the Nea Makris Health Center, where doctors pronounced the child dead. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.

Earlier, our publication reported that the day before, on Saturday, July 16, six year old boy taken unconscious from the sea in Megalo Kavouri (Attica). His parents were arrested for violating article 306 of the Criminal Code – exposing a minor to danger.

Unfortunately, the tragic list is rapidly growing. Sunday afternoon, July 16, on the beach in Neo Faliro next to ΣΕΦ discovered dead man. The causes of his death have not yet been established.

In Thessaloniki 65-year-old unconscious man pulled out of the pool in Lagadas, where he was swimming on Sunday 16 July in the morning. The incident happened around 11:25 am. Please be careful, especially during extreme heat. Consider your health and age, keep an eye on the children on the beach and in the pool, do not visit the beach during the hottest hours. Indeed, in most cases, such tragedies could have been avoided by following the simple recommendations of specialists.
