A ferocious dog attack on a 62-year-old Ptolemais man resulted in 55 stitches all over his body.
How writes newsbeast.gr, the animal bit the hands, head and other parts of the body of a man who had serious health problems. He was rushed to Bodosakio Hospital in Ptolemaida, where he received first aid and received stitches.
The incident took place on Saturday morning in Perdikka (Περδίκκα), when the victim left his house and, for reasons still unknown, was attacked by a dog. He tried to run away, but the animal was faster. The man’s condition remains serious, he is in the hospital.
The problem, alas, is relevant for Greece – news of animal cruelty alternates with reports of attacks by stray dogs. Rhetorical question: how long?
