Probably many of us start our day with a cup of aromatic coffee. Some prefer it hot, while others prefer it cold even in winter.
A new study by American scientists shows that hot coffee is healthier than cold coffee. Researchers from the University of Philadelphia and Thomas Jefferson University in the US compared hot and cold coffee in a test. The results of the study were published in the scientific journal Scientific Reports.
As experts have found, the process of heating coffee creates more titratable acids, which help pump oxygen throughout the body. The fact that cold coffee prepared at room temperature (and with ice added), deprives us of what hot coffee gives us.
This the study is the first to analyze health benefits in general and also based on the temperature of coffee. While last year’s American Heart Association survey recommended drinking as much coffee as you like, the new results prove that ideally it would be It’s nice to switch to a hot version of your favorite drink.
Other information that studies provide is that hot coffee helps fight diabetes and depression.
