Today, Thursday 29 June 2023, a fire broke out on the yacht at noon.
A sea vessel with passengers heading east of Vathi Kalymnos caught fire after entering the open sea and, according to the testimony of local residents.
In particular, 2 loud pops were heard, and then thick black smoke poured, the column of which was visible from afar. According to the information, the passengers jumped into the sea and stayed there until the coast guard boat arrived. Firefighters also arrived at the scene.
According to the information available at the moment, all three passengers of the Turkish-flagged vessel are in good health.
