In the metropolitan area of Kato Patisia, in the house of a 66-year-old woman, hundreds of bags of drugs and cash in the amount of more than 3,000 euros were found.
A foreign woman was arrested in the framework of operational actions carried out on 06.06.2023 in Athens by the police of the Narcotics Division (Attica Police Department) for violating the law on addictive substances and counterfeiting a banknote.
Following a call from an anonymous individual and in the course of examining the information provided about the cannabis trade in the area of Kato Paticia, in particular around schools, a specific woman was identified. Thus, the accused was discovered and her criminal activity confirmed.
After an investigation with the help of a police dog, the woman is arrested at her home. Found in the room were 57 nylon bags of raw cannabis, with a total weight of 1088 grams, intended for sale.
In addition, the following were found and seized:
- accurate electronic scales 4 pcs.
- nylon bag sealer
- 227 nylon narcotic packs
- the amount of 3830 euros
- counterfeit 50 euro banknote.
The detained woman was taken to the criminal prosecutor’s office of Athens.
