The complaint that led to the dismantling of the criminal scheme

The countdown to the end of the scheme began in February last year when a parent went to the authorities and complained that the coach had asked him to give the federation €3,500 to get a fake grade sheet for his child’s assessment.

According to reports, after the complaint, a meeting was arranged during which the parent handed over the money, marked with a marker, to the coach. The man was arrested, and during the subsequent investigation, the case began to unravel.

“After the coach was arrested, the investigation was expanded. It turned out that, in addition to the parents of children attending martial arts schools, there were also coaches working with the ring who wanted to advance in the class. Thus, they took part as athletes, receiving fake documents about that they have excelled and are moving up the coaching levels,” the same sources noted.

So far, it has been established that 18 match reports were falsified involving 30 students/athletes and 4 coaches who participated as athletes, wishing to increase their coaching ranks.
