A 42-year-old Russian, wanted by the Russian prosecutor’s office in order to be punished, serve a 15-year prison sentence for attempting to sell drugs, was arrested in the Evosmos district of Thessaloniki.
As it was established during the check, involved by the law enforcement agencies of Greece, there was an international arrest warrant for the detained Russian. At present, according to the publication “Kathimerini” (kathimerini.gr), the man was taken to the Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki to start procedures related to his extradition to his homeland.
