myPROPERTY offers new services that make the work of citizens and notaries easier

The myPROPERTY digital service has acquired new digital services and features that make the work of citizens and notaries easier.

In particular, two new decisions by the head of AADE Georgios Picilis are proposed from tomorrow, Tuesday 16 May:

  • Extending the deadline for notaries to submit digital transfer tax returns when it comes to drawing up a final transfer agreement after a preliminary agreement. The condition is that the final contract must not be drawn up more than two years after the preliminary contract.
  • Cancellation of the certificate in accordance with article 105 of Law no. 2961/2001 on inheritance, gift or parental gift tax returns issued through myPROPERTY where tax is not due or has been paid. Instead, a digital declaration is used, which is retrieved from the myPROPERTY platform, followed by a simple data immutability declaration.

Georgios Picilis said: “Digitalization in the field of capital taxes continues, and at the same time it allows us to change the bureaucratic procedures. myPROPERTY helps professionals and citizens to simplify real estate transactions.”

Service myPROPERTY, has been operating since 2021 as part of the state digital services project GOV.GR. Earlier, from May 3, 2023, the service had the opportunity to receive “Digital Certificate of Tax Residence”. A month earlier reported about simplifying the process of transferring property, changes in certificates and statute of limitations for inheritance taxes, gifts and parental benefits.
