The tragedy in Russian Orenburg – as a result of today’s collapse of the carousel in one of the city parks, 20 people were injured.
According to the latest data, 12 victims were hospitalized, informs TASS. The incident took place in Orenpark. According to information from the mayor’s office, the carousel partially collapsed due to a breakdown of the mechanism.
Injuries of varying severity were received by 20 people, including children. There are 15 people in hospitals. Later, the Ministry of Health clarified that twelve were hospitalized, the rest will be treated on an outpatient basis. Three people are in critical condition. Some of the victims were taken to hospitals without waiting for an ambulance, their total number will be specified.
Rescuers, law enforcement and investigative officials are working at the scene. A criminal case has been initiated under the article on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, the press service of the regional department of the UK reported.
