Early on Wednesday morning (26/4) a burglary occurred in a bakery located in Kallithea, as a result of which the criminals took out the safe.
According to information provided by the ERT channel, criminals, using the “riffi” method (from the French riffi, which means “lightning strike”, in relation to burglary) stole a safe by breaking into an apartment building and breaking a window. It is worth noting that during the escape, the attackers punched a hole in the wall in order to be able to carry the safe.
As captured on video, the robbers carried the safe to the middle of the street and started running with it. However, they did not have time to open it, and left the “prey” at the intersection of Ilisu and Artemis streets. The police are currently investigating to identify the perpetrators, and video footage of their actions is being studied.
Recall that some time ago in Kifissia, criminals carried out the safe from the bakery in the same way.
