A stone’s throw from the iconic Temple of Poseidon, a luxurious villa located on Cape Sounio has remained “unclaimed” since 2017.
For the umpteenth time, the famous Metaxa villa has been put up for auction. The panoramic windows of the luxurious property offer the most beautiful view in Attica – the vast expanses of the sea and the ancient Temple of Poseidon.
The villa was once owned by the architect Nikolaos Metaxas and is considered to be located on the out of town plan (εκτός σχεδίου) of Lavrio municipality. The epic of luxury real estate, its auction for debts, began in 2017, but so far no one has become interested in the object.
