One-and-a-half-month-old baby dies after falling from father’s arms

The family tragedy shocked the public. Residents of Thessaloniki, having learned about the death of the baby, experienced shock and heartache.

The tragedy occurred last Saturday (4/3), when the baby fell out of the arms of his 24-year-old father, and died in the hospital a few hours later. According to the information, employees of the Police Department, as part of an investigation into the circumstances of the death of a baby, opened a case of manslaughter against a father originally from Bulgaria.

The unfortunate boy was taken to the emergency hospital of the city in serious condition, where he soon died. As a result of a forensic medical examination, it turned out that the baby had craniocerebral injuries, bruises and fractures. The child was only 47 days old. The case will be referred to the competent prosecutor.
