Corinth: robbers brutally beat 83-year-old man

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, uninvited guests came to the house of an 83-year-old resident of Corinth.

The robbers broke open the balcony door and entered the old man’s apartment. They beat a weak man who was praying for mercy until the unfortunate man gave them all the money in the house – 4,000 euros.

But this was not enough for the criminals. They dragged him to the shop on the ground floor, owned by the old man’s son. There, the man somehow managed to press the panic button, after which the hooded thugs quickly retreated.

Soon, emergency response patrol cars arrived at the scene of the incident. A team of experts worked in the house until noon today, taking fingerprints and collecting traces of DNA, writes CNN Greece.
