Body parts of 28-year-old famous model and influencer Abby Choi are found in a refrigerator in her former father-in-law’s rented house in a suburb of Hong Kong.
This came after a financial dispute with her ex-husband’s family, tells CNN Greece. Hong Kong police said body parts of a young woman who graced the cover of L’Officiel Monaco last week were found in pots in a refrigerator.
Alan Chang, deputy constable, told the media yesterday that police are trying to find the victim’s head as her limbs were found in the refrigerator. Police have arrested the father, mother and older brother of ex-husband Abby Choi, they will be charged with murder. The ex-husband of the model was also arrested as a suspect, according to the South China Morning Post. Alan Chang says:
“We believe that the victim and her ex-husband’s family had many financial disputes involving huge amounts of money. Someone was dissatisfied with the way the victim disposed of his assets.”
The woman went missing last Wednesday. The last person to see her was her ex-husband’s brother, who worked as her chauffeur. The police claimed that the family had previously made false statements in order to mislead investigators. The house was recently rented and had no furniture. This suggests that it was rented to cover up the murder and dispose of the body. As the deputy constable stated, the murder was “well planned” and “thought out”.
